1. In Opple Lighting Intelligent Logistics Project, AGVs are mainly used for logistics and transportation of lighting materials from material sorting place to production line. Sorting and classifying materials from the line to the three-dimensional shelf, recording the location information, and updating the location management system, all which are used to meet information management requirements of process and storage location, intelligently manage the material warehouse, report material-related information in real time, and schedule autonomously.
2. Summary of difficulties of the project: The main problem faced by this project is that the size of transported materials is large, and materials are loaded by pallets needed to be connected by rollers, standard for connection is high.
3. Functions and benefits provided by Casun AGVs: Casun AGVs will replace manual handling and realize unmanned operation. Through connection of the system to make data chain integrated/ perfective /traceable, the management and operation cost of the entire process is reduced,it will decrease the cost of the whole process and increased production capability.
Large materials transportation is a time-consuming/difficult job with multi docking machines,diverse technological process,there would be high error rate during transfer process, all the factors result in low production efficiency.
2. Intensive labour, high salary costs
In order to meet fast-paced production, it will increase demand of porters, and working hours, all which in turn leads to high salary costs and management costs.
Material of AGVs casing is stainless steel, they have automated docking function by conveyor, which can also realize seamless docking with production line roller. The system can work fast/high efficiently/stably/versatilely.
AGV intelligent control system connected with the MES system, can automatically generate material transfer tasks, and intelligently schedule optimal path to reduce invalid walking and improve operational efficiency, can also manage material information of the warehouse location in real time and realize the synchronization of accounts and materials.
Various AGVs are used at the same project and cooperate with each other to achieve highly automated transportation for factory materials.
